The Javaad Alipoor Company present the UK stage premiere of Fiona Mozley's novel ELMET as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture - starring LJ Parkinson as Danny.
Mozley’s Booker prize-shortlisted 2017 novel, Elmet, is a lyrical and violent tale of land, family and revenge in semi-rural Yorkshire - and has now been adapted for the stage by Javaad Alipoor, and is playing as part of Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
LJ Parkinson leads the company as Danny, the book's enigmatic narrator.
With movement from Deb Pugh (Ad Infinitum) and new music from the BBC Folk Award-winning The Unthanks, this powerful production builds to a jaw-dropping showdown finale.
