Filming has commenced for the TV adaptation of James Graham's DEAR ENGLAND - with Josh Barrow playing Jordan Pickford.
The BBC has announced the starting line-up for new drama Dear England (4x60), based on James Graham’s (Sherwood, Quiz) hit National Theatre play about Gareth Southgate and the England men’s football team. Produced by Left Bank Pictures (This City is Ours, The Crown) filming has now commenced in the South of England, and the series will air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2026.
As previously announced, Joseph Fiennes will reprise his role as Gareth Southgate, and now, Jodie Whittaker has joined the cast as Pippa Grange - along with Josh Barrow as Jordan Pickford.
Josh originated the role at the National Theatre in 2023, before taking the role to the West End.
On August 21st, Josh can be seen on Netflix in Hostage - starring Suranne Jones & Julie Delpy.
