DEAR ENGLAND - starring Josh Barrow - has been nominated for 9 Olivier Awards, including Best New Play.

Established in 1976, the Olivier Awards celebrate the world-class status of London theatre, and are Britain’s most prestigious stage honours. The nominates were announced yesterday by Beverley Knight, with the winners announced on Sunday 14th April - in an event hosted by Hannah Waddingham at the Royal Albert Hall.

DEAR ENGLAND is a fictionalised account of the struggles and successes of England’s football teams, based on extensive research and interviews. The stage play premiered at the National Theatre to five-star reviews and a sell-out run in 2023, before transferring to London’s West End.

The production starred Josh Barrow as England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Josh is represented by The Production Exchange as an Actor & Writer - next week, Josh's original short film HEATHEN LAND will start filming with Birdie Pictures & Papatango.
