Huw Brentnall is an award-winning writer and actor, trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. His drama About a Dog, commissioned for BBC Radio 4, was broadcast in October 2022 and nominated for the Tinniswood Award for best audio drama script at the 2024 BBC Audio Awards.
Huw has collaborated with the Old Red Lion, HatTrick Productions, INK Writers’ Festival, and the BBC.
Huw is currently collaborating on a number of writing projects. He is working alongside FELIX UFF on an original television drama, East of Eden which has been written with support from HatTrick Productions and Moonage Pictures. This is one of many television projects which continue to be developed by Brentnall and Uff.
Huw is also collaborating with actor and musician Grace Haydn on their new play, Gwen and Arddwr. The R&D process has been supported by the Young Vic and BOLD Elephant.
Finally, Huw has an original screenplay, Good People, which is currently in development.
