Abigail Anderson

Abigail is an award-winning director with over 30 years of directing experience and more than 100 productions to her credit. Based in London, she is a freelancer with particular skills in directing classic text, comedy and Christmas shows.

Abigail’s background is a highly unusual mix of classical text-based approaches (RSC, Oxford University) and improvisation, devising and clown (Keith Johnstone, John Wright, Desmond Jones, CSSD). This means her productions are high energy, imaginative and fun with rigorously clear storytelling at the heart.

She is also a sought after dramaturg on new plays and musicals.
