About the Playwright: Michael Punter
Michael Punter has been writing plays for almost 20 years. His work has been performed at places such as the UK’s National Theatre, Hampstead Theatre, and Edinburgh Festival. Companies such as Paines Plough and Pop Up children’s theatre have toured his work as well. In 2016, his play American Soviet was performed in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.
In addition to being a playwright, Michael also teaches across the UK and US. He previously taught playwriting at Royal Holloway University of London for 10 years. He has mentored MA students at Central School of Speech and Drama in London, as well as teaching theatre courses for students from Colgate University, New York. He currently teaches theatre courses at CAPA Global Education Centre in London for students across the USA.

Directing credits include Twelfth Night (Rose Playhouse) Sleepwalk (RADA Festival) Checkmate (Mercury Studio, Camden Peoples Theatre) Saving Camelot (Mercury Studio) and readings and new writing pieces for Sheer Height at the Park Theatre, Herstory Festival at TheatreN16, Women At RADA, Rose Playhouse Salon Season, Broadway Studio Letchworth.
Natasha co-founded Women At RADA, an initiative promoting gender equality on stage and through them has produced two new writing nights at the Arts Theatre, West End and for Bloomsbury festival at Conway Hall, and regularly produces rehearsed readings at RADA as part of the Women At RADA100.
