About Philippa
Philippa is an actor-musician and theatre maker who is particularly skilled and experienced in the development of new work.
Recent projects include Sally Cookson’s Peter Pan (National Theatre/Troubadour Theatres), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (Southwark Playhouse) and Pippi Longstocking (Royal & Derngate.)
She has created shows with multi Award Winning Companies such as The Wardrobe Ensemble, Les Enfants Terribles, Sheep Soup and This Egg. Philippa is a returning performer at The North Wall’s ArtsLab Residencies for new writing directed Ria Parry & John Hoggarth and has trained with experimental Physical Theatre Company OBRA in France.
As a musician, Philippa is a very strong mezzo soprano (Dip.GSA Musical Theatre) and plays the violin and piano. She regularly collaborates with, and has recorded original material for composers including Darren Clark (RSC), John Biddle (Hull Truck), and Dom Coyote (Kneehigh).
