GINA RUYSEN
Gina is a recent graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where she was a member of the BOVTS Carleton Hobbs team for 2017. Credits during her training include Sarah in 13, Mrs Webb in Our Town, Lady Anne in Richard III, and Queen Elizabeth I in Vivat! Vivat Regina!
Gina is currently performing in the world stage premiere of The Knowledge at Charing Cross Theatre, directed by Maureen Lipman.

Gina has dual citizenship, British and American. Having been raised by her American mother she is a “fluent” American and has a good ear for North American accents.
She holds a BA Honours Degree in English Language and Literature from Leeds University, where she was also the Vice-President of the Leeds Theatre Group. She is a member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
A strong, classically trained mezzo-soprano, she holds an Associate Diploma in Music Theatre from Trinity College London. She has a warm and mature voice, well suited to radio and voiceover work.
