About DEWI
Dewi is a dual heritage Indonesian/British actor who graduated in 2017 with first class Honours from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.
She is London based but also has bases in Malaysia and Indonesia. Dewi’s natural speaking accent is RP but she has a great facility with accents, and is fluent in Indonesian.
In her graduation production she played Abigail Williams in The Crucible (dir. Sean Turner) to great acclaim. Since graduating Dewi has appeared in Call the Midwife (BBC), The Princess Switch (Netflix), and has worked closely with the Guildford Shakespeare Company. She recently appeared at Hermia is RIFT’s production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Alexandra Palace.
Dewi has also worked extensively behind the camera. In the last year she produced three music video’s for this year’s Ivors Novella Rising Star Award Winner Mysie. Dewi has also directed her own short film Eyes Off You with her production company feelbad Productions.
